So Beads texted me last night asking if I wanted to head over to Jackson hole to float the snake river. Easy answer, hell yes. Finished of my town chores and got a hitch over there easily. After a quick tour of Jackson Hole we went to beads friend's house and got ready to float.
We met a few more of her friends for a total of 8 of us before grabbing some tubes and heading to the river. The water a perfect temperature, just cool enough to cut through the 85+ degree temperatures. We had a nice 4 hour float with only a few small hiccups, we got beached once and narrowly missed hitting a cliff once. After the float we headed back to one of the friends place for a backyard bbq. All in all an excellent day off.
