Apparently camping where we did was a good thing. Some other hikers camped at the intersection of the road we were walking and the trail and got hassled by locals all night. I guess there was a loop of roads there and they were driving in circles and making a big commotion until 3 am.
Our hike into Helena wasn't bad. We had gotten an early enough start to beat the heat, which was a good thing cause it hit triple digits.
